One of the areas with the least light pollution in the night sky in France is the renowned
Black Triangle of Quercy. It extends between Labastide-Murat, Livernon and Sauliac-sur-Célé. It is a privileged site of great astronomical observation, welcoming growing tourism every year.

Figeac harbours the Champollion museum and a giant reproduction of the Rosetta Stone,decrypted by this native child of the country, Champollion, one of the founders of moderne Egyptology.
